Casey Johnson may have been a member of the ultra wealthy Johnson & Johnson family when she died this year, but her bank account did not represent a great fortune.
According to legal documents unearthed by TMZ, the troubled heiress passed away with approximately $75,000 in assets and no will.
Casey's father, the owner of the New York Jets, is asking the court to appoint him Special Administrator of his daughter's estate.
"It is necessary for him to take possession of all of the assets... as quickly as possible to preserve her estate from damage, waste, injury and publicity," reads the document in question.
Meanwhile, Casey's mom, Nancy Sale Frey Johnson, has custody of Casey's daughter, Ava. She'll likely begin legal procedures to adopt the tyke soon, a fact that won't sit well with Tila Tequila.
Then again, Tila Tequila might be dead. She hasn't Tweeted anything in days. Please be on the lookout for a crazy women wearing a fake pregnancy stomach.
Kate Gosselin is out for Dancing with the Stars glory. But regardless of whether she can shock the world and win, she's determined to have a blast trying.
“I really want to win. It’s just that the dancing part is getting in the way of winning,” she says. “In my mind, I’m winning. In my actions, not so much.”
The spirit willing, the flesh weak. But Kate says that no matter how long she lasts on DWTS, the important thing is that she does her best and has fun.
“If I last two weeks on the show, I’ve shown my kids that hard work and perseverance pays off,” says Gosselin, who'll be partnered with Tony Dovolani.
“And if I don’t win, then at the very least I’ve shown them that you don’t always have to come in first. You just have to do your best, keep on trying.”
Can Kate Gosselin make a run at the Dancing title?
As for her critics who say she can't balance fame and raising the eight children she shares with former husband Jon Gosselin, Kate asks "why can't a mom have fun?"
Truly, a question for the ages.
When people say that she's a bad mom, apparently this "destroys" Kate. Somewhere, Jon is screaming "You're a bad mom, you're a bad mom, you're a bad mom!"
Just kidding. He said he wishes Kate luck on the program. Whether he means that is another story, but at least he's putting on a good face publicly ... this moment.
In other news, dude's package is supposedly really small.
In Remember Me, Robert Pattinson plays Tyler. He's a straight shooter, someone that's confident in his ability to attract the opposite sex.
Considering his appearance, one would assume Pattinson possesses this same trait in real life. But one would be mistaken.
"When it comes to the opposite sex, I'm not as fully confident as [Tyler," the actor tells Parade in its latest issue. "I don't even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date... I'm much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back."
That may have something to do with the fact that he doesn't need to, of course. Rob is dating Kristen Stewart.
As for Robert's ultimate goal? He touched on that, and a few other topics, in the magazine interview:
On his personal ambition: You keep trying to make your name stand for something other than just like meaningless celebrity. It's a difficult battle, but I think people like Johnny Depp have done that. He's not judged by his public image, it's just his acting that counts. To get to that place takes a lot of discipline and a lot of hiding.
On box office pressure: People always used to ask me about typecasting and I never had to really worry about it. You think people will judge you by your work. But the truth is, it's about whether the film you're in makes money or not.
On his past: I got beaten up by a lot of people when I was younger. I was a bit of an idiot, but I always thought the assaults were unprovoked. It was after I first started acting and I liked to behave like an actor, or how I thought an actor was supposed to be, and that apparently provoked a lot of people into hitting me.
Former child star Corey Haim, who passed away yesterday morning, had eight film projects in the works and was dating a new love interest before he died.
That being Daisy de la Hoya of VH1's Daisy of Love fame.
While it's all relative, things appeared to be looking up for Haim, who famously battled substance abuse for years. He collapsed at home early Wednesday.
His recent love took to (what else) Twitter to express her public devastation: "I'm sooooooo devastated right now," Daisy de la Hoya Tweeted this morning.
"This is the worst day ever I can't believe this."
Daisy de la Hoya and Corey Haim were a thing.
"Daisy loved The Lost Boys, and she always had a crush on Corey," a source close to de la Hoya says. "Their first official date was two weeks ago, but they'd been hanging out a little while before that. Corey invited her to the Playboy Mansion."
"Corey Feldman came, too."
Daisy de la Hoya apparently wanted to help Haim with his struggles. "Daisy knew Corey was doing a lot of drugs, especially prescription meds," the source says. "She thought he was kind and talented, and she wanted to rescue him."
"She became his confidant over the last few weeks. He opened up to her a lot. They were having a lot of fun getting to know each other and seeing what would happen. Corey told Daisy she is a beautiful person with a beautiful heart."
We hope Corey has finally found some inner peace and wish Daisy, along with all the actor's family and friends, nothing but the best in this tragic time.
Heidi Montag and her husband are parting ways. Business-wise.
Having been managed by Spencer Pratt since she was 19 (five years ago), Heidi is replacing her pimp with Malibu-based psychic named Aiden Chase. Seriously.
"After the incredible experiences I have had healing my life and truly connecting to my dreams with healer intuitive Aiden Chase, I have officially asked him to become my manager," Montag says, apparently without any sarcasm.
"An intuitive psychic leading my team gives me an edge no one else has."
BIMBO SEEKS NEW PIMP: Spencer just got fired by Heidi.
"No longer is my husband the face of my business or managing my career," she adds. "I am going to have Aiden Chase help manage my new life and career in a very different and positive way with light and love. The time for change is now."
"Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi. I am so excited for my future and the bright successes coming my way."
Don't hold your breath, babe.
Heidi said she made the move to "clear out the negative energy" around her. Call us crazy, but Spencer was the one trying to stop the plastic surgery binge.
Despite severing business ties, the gruesome twosome will stay married. Phew.
We don't know if we could handled life without these gratuitous photo shoots.
We love Adam Lambert and we admire the enthusiasm and loyalty of his fans.
But we got into a bit of a stand-off with them last month when THG ran a story that said Lambert "ripped" Susan Boyle, referring to her her album as "terrible" and her rendition of "Wild Horses" as laughable.
Supporters of this singer jumped down our throat for misquoting the superstar, claiming we were going after Google hits (via our harsh word choice) instead of the truth. This critique prompted us to pen an editorial in which we told Adam fans to "chill out."
Since then, we've made up... right, Lambert lovers? But we still feel the need to defend our professional integrity and state: Adam really doesn't like Boyle's work. In a new interview with The Herald Sun, he was asked about his comment and said:
"It came across a bit harsher than how it actually went down. But I'm not a fan of the record, it wasn't a lie."
Let's all move on now. Adam has. He talked about the perception of American Idol in the same interview:
"[People think] you come off the show and all of a sudden you are put in this machine and puppeted into this product. That's not my experience at all.
"I'm a pretty outspoken, upfront, forward type of person, and I have opinions about what I want to be as an artist. I told them I want to be glam, be pop, be rock, I want to be everything, blend it all together and have a great time doing it. Be theatrical and be out there."
That's certainly who Lambert is - and we adore him for remaining true to himself.

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart, who welcomed their first child last week, spent a bit of time getting to know their daughter before revealing her name.
Now they picked one: Billie Beatrice Dane. Cute!
The Grey's Anatomy star and his actress wife previously said they wanted to "wait to see [the baby]" before picking a name. Gotta get it right, after all.
"You want to make sure that the name sticks."
What do you think of Eric and Rebecca's baby name?
Mark your calendars, Betty White supporters:
Following a Facebook campaign that resulted in over 350,000 signatures, fans have gotten their wish: the former Golden Girls star will host NBC's Saturday Night Live on May 8.
But the 88-year old won't take to the stage alone. In honor of Mother's Day, the edition will reunite six former female cast members as co-hosts: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.
The Facebook campaign kicked off after White appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for Snickers, which SNL creator Lorne Michaels said "took on a groundswell.
"[White as the host] isn't something we would have said no to, [but the campaign] validated that... It was the outpouring of affection from fans, and we feel the same way."
Simply put, "she's the mother of us all in comedy," Michaels said.
Go ahead and set your DVR for this episode of the long-running sketch series. We'll wait right here.
FlashForward star Joseph Fiennes and his wife, Swiss model Maria Dolores Dieguez, welcomed their first child, a daughter born on Monday, his rep confirms.
The brother of Ralph, perhaps best known for starring in Shakespeare in Love, married the former Miss Switzerland contestant just last summer in Tuscany.
They sure didn't waste any time after that! You'd think the world were going to end on April 29, 2010 or something. Sorry, we really need to sleep more.
Maria Dolores Dieguez is Joseph Fiennes' wife. His gorgeous wife.
They announced the pregnancy last fall, saying they were "utterly thrilled."
FlashForward nine months and just look what happened! Sorry. Bad joke.

Extra host and former Saved By the Bell legend Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza, an actress, are apparently dating. They are also expecting a child this fall!
“I’m really excited. I’m happy. I can’t wait to be a dad,” Mario said.
“I grew up in a large family,” he shared. “I’m fired up! I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see [the baby's gender] so it will be a surprise.”
Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza met in 2008 when the hunk was starring on Broadway in A Chorus Line and began quietly dating at some point after that.
This will be the first child for both.
Congratulations to Courtney Mazza and Mario Lopez!
